Shipping Policy

The Folk Project ships orders placed on www.thefolkproject.com from Coimbatore to addresses across India.

1. Where we ship

We currently ship to all serviceable pin codes in India. We do not ship internationally at this time.

If a pin code is not serviceable (including for COD), checkout or the courier may decline the shipment. We will contact you to update the address, switch to prepaid, or cancel and refund.

2. Shipping charges

Standard shipping is included in the MRP. You do not pay a separate shipping charge at checkout for prepaid or COD orders.

Cash on delivery is available with an extra ₹250 COD fee, shown at checkout and collected by the courier along with the product amount. Prepaid orders (Razorpay — UPI, cards, and other enabled methods) do not pay this ₹250 fee.

3. Processing and delivery time

Estimated delivery for most Indian addresses is 7 to 10 days from order confirmation, including packing and transit. Delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees. Remote pin codes, peak sale periods, weather, and courier disruption can add time.

4. Couriers

The carrier is chosen at dispatch. We will share the tracking number by email or phone/WhatsApp when it is available. Please keep your number reachable, especially for COD.

5. Order tracking

Use the tracking link we send, or write to us with your order number.

6. Incorrect address or failed delivery

You are responsible for a complete name, address, PIN, and phone number. Extra courier charges for a wrong address, or for re-shipment after a failed delivery, may be payable by you.

If a COD parcel is refused or returned, we may cancel the order. Re-shipping the same order may require prepaid payment. If the parcel comes back to us and we cannot reach you, we may cancel a prepaid order and refund after deducting any actual extra courier cost already incurred.

7. Inspection on delivery

Please check the packet when it arrives. For damage or a wrong item, contact us within 2 days with photos of the packet and the tee. For unused returns or size exchange, you have 7 days. Full rules are in the Refund Policy.

If the outer carton is badly crushed or torn, note it with the courier where they allow a remark, and contact us the same day.

8. Return shipping

For an approved return, size exchange, or damage/wrong-item claim, The Folk Project pays return shipping. Wait for our instructions before you send anything back. Parcels sent without approval may not be refunded, and we may not cover that freight.

9. Customs and international

Not applicable. We do not ship outside India.
